67 and Counting
Six Canadian soldiers were killed on Wednesday when their armoured vehicle was hit with an IED. Read more about it here. This brings the total Canadian dead in Afghanistan to 66 Canadian soldiers and one Diplomat.
BTW deaninregina tracked down the article about the infant mortality rate in Afghanistan. It is stories like this that show that some good is coming out of the war. I will leave it up to the reader to decide for themselves whether it is worth the deaths of our fine Canadian soldiers. To the soldiers, be safe, and Canada is extremely proud of you.
